Week ten of Talent Track – the supporters’ weekly guide to those Bianconeri currently enjoying loan spells and co-ownership deals elsewhere – focuses on a goal glut courtesy of a quartet of players plying their trades in Serie A and B.
This week’s edition begins with a look at Domenico Berardi who bagged a double during Sassuolo’s thrilling 3-3 away draw with Genoa at the Marassi on Sunday afternoon.
And it was the 20-year-old who got the ball rolling when he won and converted a penalty past Mattia Perin after 19 minutes. The Neroverdi weren’t in front for long as Iago Falque – who spent four years with Juventus but did not make a first-team appearance – levelled the scores midway through the first period.
Sassuolo edged back in front five minutes into the second half when Simone Missiroli connected with Berardi’s corner to make it 2-1 but Giannis Fetfatzidis then added his stamp to proceedings when he equalised only 180 seconds later.
Berardi’s second goal of the encounter looked to have sealed all three points when he latched on to Simone Zaza’s pass and finished off an exquisite counter-attack with around 20 minutes remaining. However, the Neroverdi were unable to hold on and Fetfatzidis fired in a penalty to ensure a share of the spoils at the death.
Dropping down a division to Serie B now, striker Stefano Padovan scored his first goal in Italy’s second flight as he notched a consolation in Crotone’s 2-1 defeat to Ternana on Monday.
Yesterday’s appearance, the 20-year-old’s eighth with the club so far, saw him replace Camillo Ciano as a substitute with Crotone two goals down following former Bianconero Valeri Bojinov’s strikes. The newly-entered Padovan added his name to the scoresheet late on in stoppage time to halve the arrears but it was too little, too late.
A Bianconeri youth graduate, Padovan converted a spot-kick during the Primavera’s triumphant 2-1 Coppa Italia victory over Napoli back in 2013. He spent the first half of the 2013/14 season with Pescara before then joining Vicenza in the Lega Pro on a loan deal.
Also on target this weekend was Cristian Pasquato who bagged a brace in Pescara’s 4-2 success away at Trapani.
The 25-year-old scored either side of Simone Basso’s equaliser during the first half as he set the Abruzzo-based outfit on their way to a victory which sees them end the weekend in a playoff spot.
Born in Padua, the forward made his Juventus debut at the tender age of 19 under former coach Claudio Ranieri in a game between the Bianconeri and Catania in 2009, replacing Alessandro Del Piero as the encounter approached full-time.
Last but not least is Andrea Schiavone who has started in 19 of his 22 appearances for Modena so far this campaign. On the Bianconeri’s books since 1999, the Italy Under-21 international is an ambidextrous defensive midfielder blessed with excellent vision and has also captained the Primavera.
Having given Modena the lead after only seven minutes on Saturday afternoon, Schiavone’s strike was cancelled out by Tomasz Kupisz as the Emilia-Romagna side were held to a 1-1 draw away at Cittadella. That goal takes his tally up to two for the season and the 21-year-old - who has performed admirably in front of the defence - has also bagged two assists for an outfit who only find themselves three points off the playoff places.

• Born in 1995, full-back Luca Barloco, who spent the first half of the campaign with Novara, has moved to Lega Pro Prima Division side/A side Como.
• Elsewhere, inside midfielder Matteo Gerbaudo, has ended his loan spell with Vicenza and will now ply his trade with Spal.
• Francesco Margiotta, a 21-year-old supporting striker, has left Monza for Real Vicenza. He had already spent the 2013/14 campaign in Veneto with Unione Venezia.
• Brazilian Under-20 international Gabriel Appelt Pires, who has been with the Bianconeri since 2011, has swapped Pescara for Livorno. He has already enjoyed various stints with Pro Vercelli and Spezia.
• Young Senegalese striker Mbaye Diagne has returned to Belgium following his spell with Lierse last season. The 23-year-old has joined 12th-place Belgian Pro League outfit Westerlo on a loan deal.
