Milan assistant manager Mauro Tassotti says the Rossoneri will need to dig deep if they are to come away from Juventus Stadium with a positive result tomorrow night.
Turin has historically represented a challenging venue for Milan and with patchy overall away form this season, Tassotti is aware of the task facing Filippo Inzaghi’s men when they line-up against the reigning champions.
Yet the 55-year-old, who represented the club for 17 years as a player, is confident that a disciplined performance could prove key to stopping the Bianconeri bandwagon from rolling on once again on home soil.
Speaking ahead of Milan’s departure for Turin, Tassotti said: “Historically speaking it’s a difficult venue for us to go to, as it’s also proved for great coaches like Capello and Sacchi. We’ve got a real battle ahead of us, but we’re ready.
“Juventus are a team that earn many points at home whilst conceding very few goals. We know that they’re second in Europe from this point of view - it’s always really difficult to play at their stadium.
“We always want to go out and attack but understandably we also have to take into account opponents who force us to play in a different way. We’ll need to be organised and aggressive for 90 minutes.”
