Francesco Calvi spoke ahead of the Europa League quarter-final return leg in Lisbon against Sporting. Juventus Chief Football Officer commented on matters off and on the pitch.
“These days have been intense, but now we must focus on the game. We’ve been waiting all day today, which is never good, the verdict came late. We are satisfied but there's also some regret for ex-President Andrea Agnelli and former directors Fabio Paratici, Maurizio Arrivabene and Federico Cherubini, who is still a part of the club. There is solidarity for them, but we are satisfied with the table and us. Now we have certainties and we expect that these points will remain ours.
“It’s premature also because we haven’t received the motivation, so it’s impossible to know how to react without knowing the motivations. We are convinced we have not committed any wrongdoing and we’ve always kept the dialogue open with the utmost respect.”
