eThe Women's FIGC have released their Team of the Week following the conclusion of Matchday 3 in Serie A, with three of our Juventus Women present following the Bianconere's three-pointer against Milan.
The performances of Martina Lenzini, Amanda Nildén and Arianna Caruso saw them named in the Team of the Week, with some of their impressive numbers listed below:
Martina Lenzini: Among the players who attempted at least five duels, Lenzini was, with Emma Færge, one of the two who to have won 100%. Furthermore, the 25-year-old regained possession on eight occassions, more than anyone else in the match between Milan and Juventus.
Amanda Nildén: Among all defenders, only Guagni (six) made more crosses than Nilden (four, including corners) this matchday. The Swede was also first in the match between Milan and Juventus for entries into the opponent's third (12).
Arianna Caruso: In addition to the goal that decided the match against Milan, Caruso was the player who took the most shots (three), completed the most passes (43) and dribbles (two) in the match.
