The Allievi Nazionali tightened their grip on third in the domestic standings after they comfortably dispatched Sampdoria 3-1 in Vinovo on Saturday afternoon.
Felice Tufano’s charges, who were looking to bounce back at the first time of asking following last week’s narrow Derby Della Mole defeat to Torino, went ahead on nine minutes when Bioty Moise Kean fired home.
Stefano Monteleone then added a second 11 minutes later to put the Bianconeri young guns into a comfortable half-time advantage.
Seventeen minutes of the second period had been played when Fabio Morselli made it 3-0 before the visitors pulled a goal back almost immediately through Giacomo Vrioni, but the strike ultimately proved a consolation.
Tufano’s Allievi Nazionali will hope to make it two wins in a week when they travel to fourth-placed Fiorentina for an intriguing affair on Wednesday afternoon.
