Juve returned to Turin yesterday evening with three more important points from the away game against Sampdoria in Genoa.
The time has now come to shift the focus from domestic competition to the Champions League, with the second leg of the Round of 16 on Wednesday. The stage is set for the 21h00 CET kick-off at the Allianz Stadium against Villarreal after the 1-1 draw in the first leg at the Estadio de la Cerámica.
As happens every post-match, the team today was divided into two working groups. There was a recovery programme between the gym and swimming pool for those who took to the field yesterday, while the remaining players worked on ball possession exercises, which included switches in play and deep passing to develop the action.
