Massimiliano Allegri’s Juventus enjoyed the lion’s share of possession during yesterday’s top flight encounter with Udinese at the Stadio Friuli but were ultimately left to contend with a point following a goalless draw in Udine.
It was a combative performance from both sides as the battle of the black and white stripes saw a spirited Zebrette outfit ultimately nullify the reigning champions who completed almost double the amount of passes than their opponents.
Despite being held to a 0-0 draw, it was a worthwhile point gained towards the Bianconeri's title charge as they kept their 13th clean sheet in Serie A - a record in Europe’s top five leagues.
Here is a closer look at the statistics from yesterday’s domestic outing:
Two
Lay-offs performed by Fernando Llorente, with the 29-year-old also laying three chances on for his team-mates.
Six
Crosses swung in by Stephan Lichtsteiner. The Swiss defender caused plenty of problems down Juventus’ right hand side during the course of the encounter.
10
Successful dribbles completed by Paul Pogba who was industrious in the middle of the park.
66.2
Percentage of possession dictated by the visitors as they looked to take the game to their opponents. It is the second highest tally the Bianconeri have registered away from home this season.
100
Successful passes completed by Andrea Pirlo, with the Maestro also threading 14 good long balls, winning four tackles and enjoying 129 total touches.
