A King Udoh-inspired Primavera kept the pressure up on the teams above them thanks to this afternoon’s 2-1 league triumph over Bologna in Vercelli.
Approaching the game on the back of seven wins in nine outings, Fabio Grosso’s charges dominated a goalless first-half but went behind three minutes into the restart following Lorenzo Colli’s strike.
The goal, however, didn’t deter Juventus, who equalised courtesy of a Luca Clemenza penalty after the referee spotted a handball in the penalty area on 73 minutes.
And Udoh completed the comeback when he fired in a fine drive from the edge of the area to send the hosts wild deep into stoppage time.
Next up for Grosso’s young guns is the small matter of a Derby Della Mole encounter away at Torino on Sunday 19 April.
