The holidays are here and where better to spend them than Turin! If you are visiting the city of your beloved Bianconeri this Christmas, you may already have written down the Mole, the Egyptian Museum or even the Automobile Museum on your bucket list of sightseeing spots, but a trip to Turin would not be complete without entering the doors of the club’s treasure trove, Juventus Museum!
120 YEARS OF BIANCONERI HISTORY
Inside, you will find 120 glorious years of triumphs represented by shirts and trophies, videos and photos, rare artefacts and literary quotes. In fact, since its inauguration on 16 May 2012, the Museum is now home to over 400 unique pieces of Juve memorabilia, not to mention special match jerseys of the team’s “300 club”, featuring the likes of Alessandro Del Piero, Gianluigi Buffon, Claudio Marchisio and Giorgio Chiellini.
Not merely a place for cherishing the club’s glorious past, but also a hub of innovation, Juventus Museum – located on the eastern side of Allianz Stadium – showcases a permanent J Sport collection and regularly hosts temporary exhibitions, the latest of which commemorates the club’s 120-year history: “Black and White Times” is on display until 28 February 2018.
BECOME JUVE’S NEW SIGNING IN THE VIRTUAL ROOM!
Imagine undergoing a trial with the champions of Italy under the watch of Massimiliano Allegri, holding a meeting with Andrea Agnelli and Giuseppe Marotta at Juventus’ headquarters and putting pen to paper on a contract.
Imagine exploring the Bianconeri world with David Trezeguet as your guide and making your debut at Allianz Stadium with Pavel Nedved giving you those unforgettable words of encouragement.
This is the stuff of dreams for any Juve fan, but now you can experience it all of this first-hand and in 360 degrees. Where? Inside the Virtual Room, a dedicated space within Juventus Museum.
Virtual Room has come to life thanks to cutting-edge technology and collaboration between Juventus Museum and Samsung. From Saturday 23 December, visitors at the museum can enter at the cost of 5 euros. Once you’ve put on the special Samsung Gear VR glasses, you’ll be ready to try out this unique experience of becoming a new member of the team!
JUVE AND VIRTUAL REALITY
Juventus and virtual reality continue to go from strength to strength and the Virtual Room is the latest example of this. The club launched the Juventus VR App in October, enabling fans to experience the Bianconeri world like never before.
Users are brought into close contact with their Juve stars, enjoying ‘behind-the-scenes’ access to special scenarios such as the 2017 Scudetto ceremony at Allianz Stadium, Villar Perosa Day and the Black and White and More event, during which the club revealed its new visual identity.
