“I’ve joined the biggest club in Italy and one of the top four or five in Europe. I’ve worked hard but I don’t feel like I’ve made it yet.” That was how Mattia Perin introduced himself to Juventus on 11 July 2018. It was the beginning of a new adventure for Perin, after many years spent gracing other stages and establishing a reputation as one of the most reliable Italian keepers around. And it’s a reputation he’s backed up in Turin – consistency is without doubt one of his greatest attributes.
