Paulina Krumbiegel will be a Juventus Women player as of 1 July, 2024.
The versatile 23-year-old is joining the Bianconere from Hoffenheim, and has signed a contract to stay in Turin until 2026 after spending five seasons with the German club’s first-team. She had joined the club at the age of 12 and continued her development with the youth team before graduating to the first team.
Paulina will become the first Germany player to represent Juventus Women, and the move to Turin is her first adventure outside of her native Germany.
“Juventus is a great club with big ambitions,” Paulina said on her arrival. “I wanted to take the chance to play abroad and to experience another culture and another league. I want to win trophies here.”
Krumbiegel was an important player for Hoffenheim, and she has grown a lot since breaking through in the 2019/20 season, on a physical, technical and mental level. She has even earned Germany call-ups and opened her goalscoring account for her country as well.
Her versatility has seen her play all over the right-hand side of the pitch, operating on the wing or at full-back, and we have no doubt that she will be an asset to the Bianconere.
