An inauguration...but not an ordinary one for such a unique hotel. The official ribbon cutting of the first Italian hotel, born in collaboration with a football club, the J | Hotel, has just ended.
It’s a project made possible through the partnership with Lindbergh Hotels, one of the major exponents of Italian tourism, and Juventus. The hotel, which officially opened its doors on August 24, is situated in the heart of the area known as the* J | Village, near the Allianz Stadium and J | Medical, and is grounded between the Juventus Training Center and WINS-World International School.*
It wasn’t an ordinary ceremony; not just a simple ribbon cutting, but an unveiling in the presence of Captain Chiellini, ("This Hotel is beautiful and comfortable, and for us it really is a second home, a place we feel ours. Today is part of a new adventure, and is another growth step for Juventus). Juventus partners and Chef Davide Scabin, kicked off the dinner the inauguration.
The J | Hotel is unique because an entire wing is dedicated to rooms reserved for the First Team players while also offering services to the public.
There are two identity aspects to the hotel… The first, "Sport and Leisure oriented" which becomes "Total Sport" when there is a match, allowing guests to book their tickets to watch Juventus' home matches or follow away games inside a dedicated Match Room. The second, during the week, is definitely "Business Oriented".
The style of the J | Hotel fits perfectly into the surrounding environment but, once inside, the interior design choices characterise a modern, international, warm and comfortable environment characterised by welcoming living areas and* elegant hallways.*
The one hundred and thirty-eight rooms of which it is composed of are divided into five types: Comfort, Deluxe, Executive, J | Executive and Suite. Thirty-five of these, as mentioned, are permanently assigned to the First Team Players.
Guests are guaranteed a "champion’s" rest: the beds are the same as those assigned to the first team players. In most rooms, the minibars are included in the rate, and in all of them, there is a SKY connection to watch the matches on TV.
Most of the rooms also overlook a "secret" internal garden: this gives the illusion to those who choose to stay inside the structure, the perception of being in a place out of time
Even the catering choice is not ordinary, and with a dual identity, thanks to Tàola Restaurant and Tàola Lounge. The first is a restaurant that can accommodate up to one hundred people, while the second can accommodate about seventy guests in an informal and comfortable place ideal for quick lunches, business lunches and for evening aperitifs, and it characterised by an installation inspired by the Urban style New Yorkers. The restaurants also boast extended hours every day, from 11am to 11.30pm, which extends to one hour for home matches.
The gastronomic offer of both formats was curated, as we said, by Chef Davide Scabin, who wanted to interpret - as he confirmed during the inauguration - the Tàola Restaurant as a place where you stop after a long journey, thus mixing traditional dishes and international recipes, all whilst remaining faithful to the Piedmontese tradition (Tàola is precisely the translation of "table" in Piedmontese dialect). Instead, the beverage offer is curated by Barz8, with particular attention to the cocktails: the great classic "local" cocktails are reinterpreted in a modern key, with gastronomic ideas and a selection of vegan drinks.
And then there is the offer for business travelers and for meetings, corporate training and updating events, incentives and team building. J | Hotel has a conference center that consists of six modular meeting rooms: four with a capacity of up to thirty people and one up to a hundred.
All are equipped with state-of-the-art natural light, audio video and information technology infrastructures. They are also all set up with screens or video projectors and microphones. Furthermore, the rooms can be configured with different settings to adapt to the needs of the companies.
