Adrien Rabiot's World Cup adventure continues, as France beat England yesterday in the quarter-finals, winning 2-1 at the end of a thrilling match. Les Bleus will play Morocco in the semi-finals after they surprisingly eliminated Portugal earlier on in the day, with former Bianconeri, Cristiano Ronaldo and Joao Cancelo both taking part in the game.
Returning to yesterday, France went ahead with Aurelien Tchouameni's goal in the 17th minute, but England pegged back France early in the second half thanks to Harry Kane's penalty. However, despite England pressing France retook the lead with Olivier Giroud's header late on in the 78th minute. There was still time for England to fight back and they were awarded another penalty in the 84th minute but this time the effort was skied high by Kane, as the match finished 2-1 in France's favour.
Rabiot started and played the whole game for France.
