Born in Avesta on 5 September 1995, Hurtig has been with Juventus since the summer of 2020. A wide forward whose strengths include one-on-ones and aerial play, Hurtig came up through the ranks of her hometown club Avesta AIK before making her senior debut for Swedish third-tier side Gustafs GoIF, at the age of just 15. She made her Swedish top-flight debut for Umeå IK, before moving to Linkopings, where she would win the league title. Hurtig was part of the Sweden team that came third at the 2019 World Cup in France and helped her side to a silver medal at Tokyo 2020.
