One match between Juventus and Udinese at home worth remembering was that of 19 January 2013, which equalled the biggest winning margin between the two sides in Turin. But was also memorable for the beauty of the goals scored.
32 METRES OUT
It was the distance from which Paul Pogba unleashed his shot that flew under the crossbar which took the breath away. A fantastic goal, among the most beautiful evern witnessed at the Allianz Stadium.
What's more, arriving four minutes from the end of the first half it was needed for Juve to go into the break with the lead.
ON REPEAT
The distance was less impressive, but the quality of the strike remained of the highest order. In the second half Pogba repeated his first half effort by finding the corner. The stadium went wild, bowled over by very young talent expressing himself with so much personality.
MIRKO STEPS UP
On evenings like that one 10 years ago, when was going to plan, someone like Mirko Vucinic could not miss out on the fun. The Montenegrin striker made it 3-0 and also inspired the next goal with an assist worthy of note.
MATRI THE MATADOR
Alessandro Matri was the player that made the difference the previous year. In the first Juventus-Udinese at the recently unveiled Stadium he scored both goals in a 2-1 win.
A season later he added the concluding touch, overcoming Padelli one-on-one after running on to Mirko's deep through ball.
FOUR GOALS WITHOUT REPLY
In addition to the goals scored, not conceding at the other end was source of further satisfaction. Defensive concentration lead Gianluigi Buffon to experience an evening of complete tranquility, without being asked to make a noteworthy save.
