Leonardo Bonucci feels that Juve should fear no one in the Champions League quarter-finals as their confident showing in Germany is demonstration that they have reached a new level.
The defender was speaking to the media after Juve inflicted a 3-0 defeat on Borussia Dortmund. He explained: "We knew that we had to come here with belief and no fear. We got the first goal early on then played well enough to show that we were good for the lead.
"We changed formation midway through the game and went on to score again. I actually think we probably deserved another goal."
The Juve backline was bang on form tonight, so much so that Gianluigi Buffon barely touched the ball. "He only had one save to make, a shot from outside the box. That just shows you how well we played and how good we were at managing the game.
"We bided our time intelligently without piling forward on the attack, then hit them on the break. A performance like tonight's proves this team has moved up a notch."
Far from seeing tonight's success as the peak, Bonucci is eager for Juve to maintain their momentum and climb higher still.
"Nothing's been decided yet," he stressed. "There are still lots of league matches to play and this is where the Champions League starts to get interesting.
"We're through to the quarters and we'll head into them with a bounce in our step, fearing no one. Whoever we get drawn against is going to be tough but we know we'll be a hard team to beat as well."
