On Wednesday 25 May, the European Club Association (ECA) will hold a workshop at Juventus Stadium by the name of ‘The Future of CSR in European Club Football: Towards a new model?’
Thirty-five clubs from across the continent will take part in what represents the very first ECA event to deal with sustainability and corporate social responsibility.
It is no coincidence that a workshop of this nature will take place at the home of the Bianconeri in light of the club’s ever-growing commitment to what is an increasingly important issue in the game.
As of 2015, Juventus’ talks with stakeholders led to a properly defined CSR strategy and, consequently, to the publication of a second report by the name of “Our journey towards creating shared value.”
This and the Old Lady’s other social commitments will all be discussed during the workshop, which also foresees a publication illustrating a total of 64 CSR initiatives currently carried out by ECA’s member clubs.
Bianconeri president Andrea Agnelli and ECA General Secretary Michele Centenaro will both speak at the day-long event at Juventus Stadium.
