The Champions League returns this week for the penultimate group stage round and Juve's opponents in group D enjoyed successful results over the weekend.
The Bianconeri's opponents on Wednesday, Barcelona, took home three points from the Madrid suburb of Leganes with Luis Suarez scoring twice and Paulinho adding a third in a 3-0 win. Barcelona currently top Serie A by 4 points over Valencia and lead Real Madrid by 10 points.
Sporting CP took home a 2-0 win over Famalicao in the Portugese cup with Sebastian Coates and Bas Dost scoring for the Lisbon side.
In Greece, Olympiakos made tricky work of it, but dispatched with mid-table Levadiakos 2-1 on the back of an 84th minute game-winner from Leonardo Koutris. Olympiakos are currently tied for second in the Greek Super League table a point behind AEK Athens.
