Atletico Madrid warmed up for their Champions League second leg with victory at the Wanda Metropolitano in La Liga.
Los Colchoneros beat Leganes at home, with the game's deciding goal coming in the 50th minute through Saul Niguez. Despite the slender scoreline, the hosts controlled the majority of the game, registering far more shots on goal compared to their adversaries.
Not long into the second half, Atleti were awarded a penalty that was saved by the Leganes keeper, but could do nothing about the rebound that fell to the feet of Niguez for a tap-in, that would prove to be the winner.
The result keeps Atleti in second place in La Liga, eight points ahead of neighbours, Real in second, and seven behind leaders, Barcelona.
Our opponents' press conference and Allianz Stadium training session will both be LIVE on Juventus TV tomorrow.
