JUVENTUS WOMEN KEEP THE MOMENTUM GOING
Juventus Women made it four wins out of four last time out, as Finland international forward, Sanni Franssi connected on an Aurora Galli cross in the 50th minute to score the only goal of the game and condemn Verona to a 1-0 defeat.
The result ensured that Juventus Women have yet to taste defeat so far in their historic debut campaign, and haven’t even dropped a single point. They are currently in second place in the Women’s Serie A with 12 points, and only goals conceded are keeping them off top spot, which is currently occupied by Brescia.
PINK BARI EAGER TO CLIMB THE TABLE
FC Pink Bari are currently the league’s second-bottom team, having failed to register a win so far this season.
The southern Italian outfit only have a single point to their name, which they claimed after a 0-0 draw with Zaccaria. They are the league’s lowest scorers with just one goal and have conceded 10.
