The sight of Juan Cuadrado bundling the ball into the Torino net and sprinting away in celebration in the third minute of added time at Juventus Stadium is one that will live long in the memories of all that were there to witness it.
That scrappy finish, a break from the norm of class and silky movement from the delightfully skillful Colombian, was the first but certainly not the last memory to have been gifted to Bianconeri fans in an unforgettable season.
If a Derby day winner wasn’t enough to win the hearts of the home faithful then crucial strikes against Fiorentina and Bayern Munich - arguably one of the goals of the season - and Juan’s relentlessly entertaining style certainly were, not to mention a cup clinching assist in last week’s victory over Milan.
For a man who is rarely seen without a smile on his face and certainly no stranger to the dancefloor, Juve’s number 16 should have no trouble in celebrating his special day in the fashion he deserves, especially on the back of a history-making campaign that he has so consistently lit up with his own imitable style.
Juventus Football Club wishes Juan a very happy 28th birthday and a successful summer with Colombia for the upcoming Copa America in the United States.
