Last week a very important event was held for the Juventus Academy world. For the first time in Dubai, the annual meeting of the Middle Eastern Academies was held, with several different nations participating in the event. There were representatives of the Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Rak, Arabia Saudita, Bahrain, Kuwait & Oman academies all present.
Many topics were on the table, with the main aspects of the season being discussed. In particular the works focused on the planning of each Academy, on the Academy World Cup, and more generally, on the future development of the Juventus Academy in this important area, that is home to over 2,700 young talents in the Middle East.
It is truly a varied and interesting make-up, as for example, the Dubai Academy has young players from over 50 different nationalities, and the most surprising thing is that the number of participants continues to grow.
The Juventus delegation also visited the recently awarded, best football academies in the area, namely the structures of Dubai, Abu Dhabi and RAK.
The weekend ended with everyone cheering on Juve on the occasion of the match against Napoli, screened by Juventus Fan Club UAE, which have hundreds of Bianconeri fans since its inauguration in 2012.
