It was a dream start for the Juventus women in their first-ever competitive match. Rita Guarino's side already have both feet in the second round of the Coppa Italia defeating Torino Calcio Femminile 13-0 in Pianezza.
RECAP
The match had barely kicked off when the Bianconeri took their first-ever lead. Martina Rosucci will forever be the answer to a trivia question as she was the first goalscorer in Juventus Women's history in just the first minute of the match.
Simona Sodini was the start of the show scoring a first-half hat-trick while Barbara Bonansea added the other as the Bianconeri took a 5-0 lead into the half-time break.
The goals didn't stop in the second half as Bonansea added a second while Aurora Galli, Benedetta Glionna and Arianna Caruso also added a pair of goals leading Juve to a 13-0 win.
The second leg of the first round is set for 10 September at the "Ale & Ricky" field.
RITA GUARINO'S THOUGHTS
"The most exciting moment was seeing the girls in the Bianconeri for the first time," explains Guarino at the end of the match. "They know we are at the start of a great adventure and we must live it ... Fino Alla Fine!"
On today's game: "Not only did we achieve our objective on the field, but we also achieved another one of our main goals which was to see so many people in the stands."
At this stage of the season: "We are increasing the work, we have to work even more. The players have come back from the national teams and are doing a good job."
