HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE AT JUVENTUS?
“Juventus is a big European club that everyone knows. It just turned 120 years old too, which is extraordinary when you think about it. I don’t think there are words that can describe how it feels for me to be here apart from that it’s amazing!”
WHAT ARE YOUR TECHNICAL ATTRIBUTES?
“I have a good first touch, I’m fast and I’m effective in one against one situations.”
HOW IS IT GOING WITH YOUR NEW TEAM-MATES AND WITH COACH RITA GUARINO?
“It’s going very well. It’s amazing how well the whole team has come together in such a short time. We get on well both on and off the pitch, which is great.”
WHAT DOES RITA GUARINO ASK OF YOU FROM A TECHNICAL STANDPOINT?
“She wants me to shoot a lot and to score goals. For now, that’s been her biggest demand from me.”
WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCES OF PLAYING AND TRAINING HERE COMPARED TO YOUR PREVIOUS CLUBS?
“We work a lot with the ball in training sessions here, which is different from previous clubs, where there was a greater emphasis on tackling and running. Here in Italy, it’s more technical and tactical.”
YOU SCORED YOUR FIRST GOAL FOR JUVENTUS WOMEN AGAINST EMPOLI LADIES. CAN YOU DESCRIBE THE GOAL AND HOW YOU FELT AFTERWARDS?
“It was a great assist by Katie Zelem. She played a through ball into my path and I was one against one with the goalkeeper and I just scored!
“I’m a striker and I always want to be scoring goals, so it was a great feeling.”
WHICH TRICK OR PIECE OF SKILL WOULD YOU MOST LIKE TO PERFORM?
“I love nutmegs. It’s what they call ‘tunnels’ here in Italy. That’s my favourite trick, but for the opponent it’s not a good thing of course!”
WHAT'S YOUR AMBITION HERE WITH JUVENTUS?
“I want to win titles and score goals, and I think that those two are quite closely related to each other. That’s what I want to do.”
WHAT KIND OF MATCH ARE YOU EXPECTING THIS SATURDAY?
“Verona drew 1-1 against Fiorentina earlier this season, so I think that it’s going to be quite an even game and they’re going to be a strong opponent. I’m expecting an interesting game and lots of spectators.”
