Gerard Pique and Neymar believe Juventus will represent a strong test of Barcelona’s mettle tomorrow night.
The Spanish defender and Brazilian forward say they are expecting the Bianconeri to turn in a big-match performance at the Olympiastadion and claim they have done their homework on how to keep them at bay.
Pique: “I’m expecting Juventus to keep possession and we’ll have to be smart to stop them from doing so. We’ve seen how they played at the Bernabeu and we’re ready to press and gain control of the game. We’ve defended well throughout the year and this is one of the main factors behind our La Liga and Copa del Rey successes.”
Neymar: “Juventus possess plenty of quality and we’ll need to play to the maximum of our abilities tomorrow. They’re not here by chance, and we know we’ve got a difficult task ahead of us. They have great players, such as Buffon, who is one of the best goalkeepers in the history of the game.”
