“We knew this match would be difficult. We started well, but made a few wrong choices in the final third, and conceded a goal on the first counter-attack. We then had a good second half, and deserved the result we got. The draw changes the dynamic of the tie especially in terms of confidence, because we absolutely didn't deserve to lose. In the end, the goal was deserved and helps is in our journey to the final. I'm confident we can make it, because this team has always shown that they can get up again and fight. I'm happy with the boys tonight.”

"This tie is played over 180 minutes, we knew we'd have difficulties tonight, they're a great team, and we weren't in good shape on the counterattack. We had to make more use of the ball in the first half, but now we'll go to Seville aware that we have already scored against them. My 500 appearances? I celebrate it, happy to have made Juve history. We scored an important equaliser, it was a beautiful evening, obviously I would have liked to celebrate with a victory though.”

"We have to be more careful on their counter-attacks. They hurt us in this aspect. They always have two to three players high up the pitch who run quickly towards the goal, so we have to be more compact and play better with the ball in the second leg. We work a lot on corners, we try to occupy the area well, and it paid off tonight. In my opinion, it's an extra weapon for us, we have to take advantage of corners. It's been a good season for me, I played a lot, even with France at the World Cup, but I'm happy I did well and scored many goals, helping the team. I'd like to go to the final and bring this trophy to Turin for everyone, from the fans to the club and the coach."
