"The lads gave everything tonight. We paid for our lack of experience. I have nothing bad to say about the team, we played a good game.
"When you play these very important matches, it’s the details that make the difference. There are steps that the team has to make, especially the guys who have little international experience. We paid for the second goal, when we could have been 2-1 up ourselves. We can't help it, it was a balanced game. I’m disappointed we didn't make it to the final, the boys deserved it this year. Next year these boys will have more international matches under their belts and will improve in the small details.
"We now aim to finish second in the league and improve in the standings from the last two years. We have to get over this disappointment and recover quickly, and be ready to face Empoli with even more anger after tonight's result.”

“My saves? In the end, they didn't count for anything, so it wasn't a good sign. There's a lot of disappointment, it's a season without trophies, here we compete to win, not just to participate. There has been growth, that's true, but if we don't win anything, it's not good. It was a very particular and difficult season, for numerous reasons."
