Juventus’ upcoming Champions League semi-final opponents Real Madrid will be hoping for another three points to keep up their pursuit of leaders Barcelona, with relegation-threatened Almeria the visitors to the Santiago Bernabeu tonight.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side, who went to within two points of the table toppers following Sunday night’s 4-2 triumph over Celta Vigo, saw the gap once again widen on Tuesday evening as the Catalan giants romped to a 6-0 win against Getafe.
Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema remain sidelined for the hosts, although both are expected to recover in time for next week’s semi-final first leg at Juventus Stadium. Meanwhile 16-year-old Norwegian midfielder Martin Odegaard could be in line to make his first team debut after being included in the squad for the first time since his January move from Stromsgodset.
