Linda Sembrant's shirt has found a home in the Juventus Museum. On Wednesday, October 18, Linda handed over the shirt she wore when she made her 100th Juventus Women appearance to the Museum.
Sembrant, who now has 103 appearances for the club, hit a century on a very memorable occasion: the day that the Bianconere beat Roma to win the Women's Italian Cup in Salerno, marking the 11th trophy in our history, and Sembrant's eighth with us. Linda was joined by Gianluca Ferrero, Stefano Braghin and Paolo Garimberti as she handed over the special shirt.
Sembrant shared her delight at the Museum: "I’m so proud and happy to be a part of the history of this club, to have made 100 appearances, it really is amazing to have done this with Juventus. I didn't expect an experience like this when I first arrived, but I felt at home right away and I'm so happy. Now, we want to keep winning, it's something I love and winning with this team is always special. I've had some great times here and I want to continue."
"It's been a real pleasure to experience this day," added Braghin. "This is testimony to the great player she is, and it shows how she has contributed to writing history with us. She has won a lot, but above all she has taught a lot to everybody. Linda is a role model and that she's still here speaks volumes of what she has done for us and what she can continue to do in the future. Having players like Linda is confirmation of the work that has been done here, and now at the Juventus Museum we are inside history, contributing a piece to it."
"Juventus Women have on so many trophies since their founding," contributed Garimberti. "Since opening the Museum we've won 19 trophies on the men's side, and 11 on the women's, so the women's team have made a huge contribution to Juventus' pride and image. I'm over the moon to have a another woman here who has played 100 games for us, because she is representation of a project that has proven itself to be successful. Now, we can't wait to add more trophies, because if any three words sum up Juventus they are: innovation, inclusion and winning."
