It's a welcome return, one we are more than happy to announce today: that of Simone Muratore, who has just started his new adventure as a technical collaborator in the Juventus Youth Sector.
The Juventus Youth world is an environment that Simone knows very well, having frequented it for many years, until 2018. From that year to 2020 Muratore was a permanent member of the Next Gen side, playing 54 matches between the Championship and the Italian Cup, scoring three goals. In the 2019/20 season, he also featured in the Bianconeri First Team, entering the pitch on five occasions, one of which was in the UEFA Champions League.
After moving to Atalanta, Simone played for two seasons on loan, first at Reggiana in Serie B and then at Portuguese side Tondela, before a forced stop due to health reasons.
Now, Simone has announced his retirement from football.
We, who have been rooting for Simo over all these years, are first of all very happy that his health problems have been resolved, and are equally delighted to welcome him back, where his experience will be of great value to the youngsters he will work with.
Welcome back, Simo!
