One of the first words that comes to mind when talking about the Derby della Mole is "history". And duly so, considering this Saturday's clash at the Allianz Stadium will be the 157th time these two sides meet in Serie A.

In the build-up to this city-dividing encounter, we take a look back at a particulary memorable Derby which took place on 3 December 1995, a match which ended 5-0 to the the black and white half of Turin.

Do you remember who the stars of that evening were?

Gianluca Vialli - 3

GIANLUCA'S DERBY

Without a shadow of a doubt, the absolute and undisputed star of that Derby was Gianluca Vialli, scorer of a superb hat-trick which, by the end of the first half, had already largely swung the game in Juve's favour.

The January 1996 issue of Hurra Juventus Magazine duly celebrated the success against Torino, but above all it gave ample coverage to Gianluca's goals, especially the second one. This is what was published in the Juventus monthly magazine:

"The 26th minute of the first half: like the great matadors of the arena, "Demolition Man" Vialli also smells a kncokout blow, and with an incursion worthy of the best marines in America penetrates the Granata defense, unleashing his powerful left foot as the ball flies into the net; for the unfortunate Doardo there is no escape. It's 2-0, it's the beginning of a Juventus ride destined to go down in history and the captain rightly applauds his feat."

A detailed description of the goal that doubled the Juventus lead, also well told with the accompanying images (one above, the other two below).

CIRO AND FABRIZIO JOIN IN

Vialli may have taken the limelight, but Ciro Ferrara and Fabrizio Ravanelli also contributed to the game in terms of scoring: Ciro struck at the start of the second half, before Ravanelli slotted home from the penalty spot to make it 5-0 halfway through the second half. Scoring against Torino had a particularly special meaning for Fabrizio, a lifelong Juventus fan.

Strong emotions were however also felt by Ciro Ferrara.

A fantastic emotion, something I hadn't yet felt in Naples: scoring a goal in a derby... and what a derby! However, I have to share the credit for the goal with Didier (Deschamps, ed.), his pass was extraordinary, it was literally asking to be finished off. I received the ball, turned around and boom... there in the corner. I didn't even look - I mean, the goal always remains in the same position, nobody moves it! Ciro "Bomber" Ferrara
