On Wednesday night, Juventus will play its second seasonal outdoor match in the UEFA Champions League. The Bianconeri will be on stage in Moscow on the field of RŽD Arena. The stands boasts a 27 084 spectator capacity, and is owned by the Rossoverde club. It was opened in 1935 and then restructured in 2002. Over the years, the ground has also played host to the Russian national team on several occasions.
RŽD Arena has a peculiarity, right at the entrance, where a train is located, the symbol of the club. Inside, is the first museum dedicated to the Russian soccer team, which was inaugurated in 2011, where sweaters, trophies, pennants and many other things.
In the tunnel leading to the pitch, there are numerous murals that refer to the history of Lokomotiv, with the inevitable trains, which makes the players' entry onto the field a unique experience. Its limited capacity unfortunately did not allow it to host any of the 2018 World Cup matches, but this is still a very popular facility in Russia. It is divided into two rings, with the first all green and the second red.
