It’s official - Viola Calligaris is a Juventus Women player, and on a permanent deal!
Having arrived on loan from Paris Saint-Germain in January, Viola made her presence felt with the Bianconere and quickly became an important player at the heart of our defence.
With her loan contract coming to an end on 30 June, the club decided to make her signing permanent and Viola has penned a deal until 30 June, 2026 with the Bianconere, showing her commitment to becoming a real point of reference with Juventus.
Viola has previously spent time with a number of big European clubs, including Young Boys, Atletico Madrid (where she won two Spanish league titles), Valencia, Levante and PSG. She has 53 international appearances to her name, scoring seven goals for Switzerland as well.
Viola made 11 Serie A appearances for Juventus last season, and she is set to add many more to that tally now.
