The Bianconere called up for the World Cup

There are eight Italian Champions in the list of the 23 Italians who will be leaving for France and representing Italy at the World Cup this summer.

Laura Giuliani, Lisa Boattin, Sara Gama, Barbara Bonansea, Valentina Cernoia, Aurora Galli, Martina Rosucci and Cristiana Girelli are among coach, Milena Bertolini’s 23-person squad who will be in action from June 7 to July 7.

Their debut is scheduled for Sunday 9 at 13:00 in Valenciennes against Australia. Their other two games are against Jamaica (Reims, June 14 at 18:00) and against Brazil (Valenciennes, June 18 at 21:00). We wish our women good luck in their extraordinary adventure.
