Gianluca Pessotto spoke immediately after the draw for the Europa League round of 16,
The Football Teams Staff Coordination Manager commented on opponents Freiburg and the aims for the Bianonceri over the remainder of the season.
"It's our first meeting against a strong team that is doing well, unbeaten in the group stage, having beaten Nantes among others. Freiburg are an opponent that must be taken seriously.
"Juventus this year have the opportunity to go on in the Europa League and to play the semi-finals of the Coppa Italia. We are competing on several fronts and we want to be go all the way. Every game serves to develop a winning mentality, because at Juventus you have to win.
"We still have in our minds the beauty of Di Maria's first goal yesterday, we have invested a lot in him, as well as in Pogba, who we expect to see soon. Di Maria put on a super performance yesterday. We hope he stays with us. It will be important to finish the season well and maybe win something important - he will surely give his all until the end.
"We are also happy with the work we are doing with the Next Gen. We are starting to see the results of a journey started years ago, and the presence of young players in the first team should be a stimulus for the boys in our youth sector, because there are many young players who will be able to perform at that level."
